Club Membership
Membership at the SSC is a mark of distinction, offering access to premier sports facilities, vibrant social events, and a community of esteemed professionals, athletes, and visionaries.
To suit every stage of life, the SSC provides several membership categories, including Life, Ordinary, Outstation, Student, and Juvenile. We also offer an Expatriate category for foreign nationals residing in Sri Lanka, while our reciprocal arrangements grant members access to select prestigious sports clubs worldwide.
Sports
While cricket remains the core sport of the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC), the club has evolved into a premier multi-sport destination. Over the years, the SSC has expanded its offerings to include a variety of popular sports that cater to our vibrant membership.
Our facilities support cricket, tennis, swimming, badminton, squash, and billiards, complemented by a fully equipped gym.
Wine & Dine
Indulge in a diverse range of dining experiences at the SSC. Enjoy a meal in the Main Restaurant or dine under the stars on our front lawn. Savor signature cocktails and bites at the Centenary Bar, with a view of the SSC cricket ground. The Lawn Café serves coffee or Ceylon tea, alongside breakfast and refreshments. The 125 Private Dining Room provides an elegantly refined setting for special occations.
Other Facilities
In addition to the club’s sports and dining facilities, SSC offers spaces for conferences and banquets, suitable for both formal and social gatherings. A recent addition to these amenities includes a library, providing members with a resourceful and reflective environment. Complementing this is the games room, created for recreational activities, offering a relaxed setting where members can unwind, socialize, and engage in leisure pursuits.
